Larks and Lyrics- Songwriting and Lyrics Workshop

During this session, local singer-songwriter Elliot Porter will take you on a journey in songwriting. Elliot is an experienced songwriter and has worked with the likes of Daisy Chute (All Angels), Frank Turner, Jon Snodgrass and Jess Greenfield (Noel Gallagher/Oasis), amongst others. He has also had his music published and played on BBC Radio 2, BBC London and BBC Cambridge. 

Elliot will be using his years of experience to cover songwriting techniques, lyric writing and chord progressions, as well as looking at ways of finding inspiration in the modern world. 

Bring along your notepad and an instrument, such as a guitar or ukulele, if you would also like to write the music (lyric writers are also welcome!). We will provide a piano and a free welcome drink. Paid bar also available.
